Non NIR High Fat Package

The following are examples of High Fat Feeds: Grape Marc/Pomace/Seeds/Pips, Canola Meal/Seeds, Copra, Meal, Choc Malt, Confectionary Waste, Bakery Waste, Olive Pomace/Pips, Citrus Pulp, Cotton Seeds, Brewers/Distillers Grains, Palm Kernel Meal, Sunflower/Safflower Seeds/Meal, Lupins and Mixed Rations containing more than 5% of a high fat product.

This package applies to all feed samples with a fat content greater than 5%. NIR calibrations are not yet available for these measurements.

  • Moisture
  • Dry Matter (DM)
  • Crude Protein (CP)
  • Fat
  • Digestibility of Dry Matter (DDM)
  • Digestibility of Organic Dry Matter (DOMD)
  • Metabolisable Energy (ME)

Non NIR Package

This package applies to all feed samples for which NIR calibrations are not yet available.

For mixed concentrate feeds, grain legumes, by-products and unusual feeds.

Test parameters:

  • Moisture
  • Dry Matter (DM)
  • Crude Protein (CP)
  • Digestibility of Dry Matter (DDM)
  • Digestibility of Organic Dry Matter (DOMD)
  • Metabolisable Energy (ME)

The Non NIR Package includes the following examples: Almond Hulls, Fruit/Vegetable Waste, Hominy Meal, Hulls, Malt Combings, Pollards, Screenings/Cleanings, Beans, Chickpeas, Lentils, Corn Kernels, Native Seeds, Peas, Rice, Sorghum, Buckwheat, Mixed Rations etc.
