We provide independent, reliable and rapid Feed and Fodder analysis, using state-of-the-art Near Infrared (NIR) Technology. This analytical technique uses light to measure the chemical composition of your sample in a fast, non-destructive method allowing us to determine the nutritional value of your stockfeed products.
We also have the capability to analyse samples using a Non NIR method.
As a laboratory we are able to measure of digestibility for of Feed and Fodder based on rigorous trials with ruminant animals, together with years of experience in research and extension in the area of Feed and Fodder quality. These animal studies continue on a regular basis and are essential to validate and improve the FeedTest service, particularly with unusual feeds or those for which we have little animal performance data.
By using our internal data we are able to produce ongoing and up to date NIR Calibrations and progressively adding to the analysis being included in our calibrations.
Being part of Agrifood Technology, FeedTest is able to offer additional testing and broader non NIR analysis to clients. The wider test range includes many parameters, including:
